About us

Introduction

National Child Support For Development Organization (is a humanitarian non-government, non political and non profitable organization, which was funded by its volunteers in 2007.it is recognized at ntional level. The Organization is REGISTERED under Pakistan social welfare act and Control) Ordinance, 1961) (Registration and Control), Act, 1982, as applicable to Azad Government of the stste of Jammu and Kashmir. At national level, the organization is working at the grass root level with a participatory approach with community based organization (CBOs), (Cos),net work . There are two Computer center based in neelum under the supervision of NCSDO. Secondly there are Threevocational training institutes for women,in several places of District Neelum. The organization has worked with some national and international NGOs like work  Plan international ,Islamic Relief,AJKRSP,Sukhie development organization , Children First, save The children UK, Acted NGO Hrdn ,Bdn,on Voluntarly bases. All the Members of organization are also volunteer of Pakistan Red crescent society (PRCS)

This NGO was formed with the objective of Welfare and Development of children in Rural Areas of Distric Neelum. We are focusing on Education improvements, better health of women and children, Rehabilitation of earthquake effected Rural Areas, Livelihood of Children, Skills development through vocational and technical Education, Rural Areas Development and Health Care activities.

Vision

The organization very clear to its concepts of community development approach ,so that tha vision of organization consists on the priorities of the community and its members needs. On the other hands the organization has very much clear about the Plan international , information sheet, Records and Child  Protection programmes  of save the children records Due to these realities organization has vision to work for the society excluded people by heir active participation in decision making process. Initially the  organization is focusing its working on the education which means environmental education women empowerment through education , skill development rehabilitation, human resource development poverty alleviation, water supply , and senation and child protection through education .

Mission

The mission of the organization is to strengthen the deprived  people of  the society and enable them to participate in all decision making process for the justified distribution of resources,to awareness by extra curriculum activities.

Our Strengths

NCSDO has dedicated of experienced professionals working inall fields of humanitarian services with in depth Knowledge of the work and areas focused an further more.537volunteers lead by capable managers, who are keen and enthusiastic with purpose in mind to be a national force advocating and managing change through capacity bulding,communication, advocacy, social mobilization and reaching out to all segments of society not restricting to any particular sector or invtervention supporting the sectors of life in there respective situation they are in whose need requirement and extractions differs from human to human.

3. NCSDO upholds the dignity of every individual and is guided by compassion and commitment, respect and integrity being multicultural and believing the gender equity,equality,social justice and transparency.

  • To help the students in educational problems specially those who cannot afford their educational expenses.

  • To serve the poor women by vocational training institutes from which they can get source of income.
  • Try for peace in everywhere in the world.
  • To work for economic development

Goals

Poverty reduction by strengthening of community through education because the gate way to overall development, so the organization has prioritized its objectives to achieve goals by emphasizing on education .Although issues are inter likinked and generate space to each others, so we have focusedto improve the life style education ,women rights by education, disaster management by education and rehabilitationby education.

Outcomes

The organization has very will linkages with its partners –i-e. Plan international, Islamic Relief, AJKRSP, Sukhie development organization, Children First, save The children UK, Acted NGO HRDN ,BDN. All the partner Organizations and CBOs, Cos have good manners of NCSDO.

Areas of work

Neelum AJK
Neelam District (Also spelled Neelum District) (Urdu: ضلع نیلم  ‎‎) is one of the ten districts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan. Until recently it was part of Neelum District. It is bound by the Gilgit (Northern Areas) to the North, with Kupwara, Baramulla and Bandipore Districts of Indian-administered Kashmir in India to the South and Southeast, Neelum District to the Southwest and Mansehra District to the West. The district has a population of 191,251 according to the 2017 Census. The district was badly affected by the 2005 Kashmir earthquake. This district is said to be one of the most under developed area of the state AJK.

Athmuqam 
Athmuqam or Athmakam (Urdu: آٹھمقام  ‎‎) is a town about 73 kilometres from Neelum, in Azad Kashmir. It is the headquarters of Neelum District. Its population is about 20,000.
The town/tehsil is accessible by Neelum road from Neelum. All the basic necessities of life are available there. There is a market and post office. Banks, hospital and telephone exchanges are also present. A number of guest Houses for accommodating visitors and Tourists.
University of AJK Neelum campus is also located in the town having departments of Computer Science, Geology and English. There are two degree colleges 1 for Girls & 1 for Boys. Private colleges like Neelum Institute of Science & Humanities (NISH) & Schools like Owasia Educational Academy are providing quality education.
Office of the Deputy Commissioner & Assistant Commissioner, Superintendent of Police etc. are present.
The project is designed for the union councils of thesil Athmuqam district Neelum The total area of these union councils is Approx. 1200 Sq Kms. There are 6 x union councils of Athmuqam and are said to be quite under developed areas as compare to the town itself.

Introduction to Union Councils of Athmuqam (Where Project will be deployed)

This union council is the most remote union council of the Athmuqam. Most of the area is mountainous and hilly. This part of the union council is lacking basic necessities of life. Major part of the population is dependent upon agriculture. The whole union council is linked with the district headquarter with single lane melted road. People used to travel on foots on the hilly mountains. Although higher secondary and high schools are established but the population is devoid of the fruits of modern time. There is not any single vocational training Centre in the whole area.

This union council is adjacent to Barrain union council. It is also linked with the district headquarter with single lane melted road. The most part of the union council is also hilly. The far flung areas are not linked with the road. There is need to link the remote areas with main road to catch the beauty of this area for tourists. Major part of the population is dependent upon agriculture. People used to travel on foots on the hilly mountains. This union council is very nearer to the district headquarter Athmuqam But it is also remote and devoid of basic necessities of life. It is also linked with the district headquarter with single lane melted road. The most pat of the union council is also hilly. The far flung areas are not linked with the road. There is need to link the remote areas with main road to catch the beauty of this area for tourists. Major part of the population is dependent upon agriculture. Kundal Shahi (Urduکنڈل شاہی  ‎‎) is a village and tourist resort in Neelam ValleyAzad KashmirPakistan. It is located 74 kilometers (46 mi) from Neelum on the bank of Neelam River.  Kundal Shahi is accessible by Neelum road from Neelum. Few hotels are located there for tourist’s stay.Its inhabitants speak the endangered Kundal Shahi language. There is not a single vocational / IT training Centre in the whole area.
